In 1979, Tom Bodett began working as a senior editor at The Hollywood Reporter. In 1981, he became the first reporter to interview Sylvester Stallone about the possibility of the actor playing a boxer in a new film project. In 1982, Tom became one of the first reporters to report on the history making blockbuster phenomenon that would come to be known as “Rocky III.” In 1983, Tom became one of the first reporters to introduce audiences to Sylvester Stallone’s new creation – “Rocky IV” – which made it onto screens in 1985. Over his nearly 34-year-long career with The Hollywood Reporter, Tom has interviewed hundreds of celebrities and has interviewed dozens of Academy Award winners and nominees. He has interviewed many industry legends including Sean Connery, Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman and Warren Beatty.
